The residential Summer Program on Data Analysis offered by San Francisco State University was an exciting opportunity for students from Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The program, which took place in July 2023, provided a unique and enriching experience in the vibrant city of San Francisco. San Francisco State University, renowned for its global education leadership, offered a diverse range of academic programs and resources. Over the course of 25 days, the program equipped students with valuable insights and practical skills in data analysis. The credit-based certificate program allowed participants to earn academic credits that could be transferred to their home institution.
It was an incredible achievement that the group of students from Gandhinagar, Gujarat received exchange visas (J-1) to join this program. This opportunity not only enhanced their academic knowledge and global career prospects but also exposed them to diverse cultures and perspectives, promoting personal growth and global awareness.
The program was designed to offer an exceptional short international university course, multinational/multicultural exposure, and empower Indian university students at subsidized costs for a group of 20 students. Participants received an official Certificate of Completion from SF State, along with a transcript for DS 312 Data Analysis with Computer Applications (3 Units).
